So Far, So Good

Nothing has been found yet that shows that the amyloids are systemic. There was nothing out of the ordinary in my blood work, and they didn't capture any amyloids in my blood marrow biopsy.

I have two more tests on Monday, August 26:

1. Fat Pad Biopsy at 11 a.m.
2. Echocardiogram at 12:30 p.m.

The nurse practitioner will call me again next week (probably Thursday) with the results of those two tests.

I love being a challenge.

    Exactly where is the fat located for the fat pad biopsy? That recalls a funny conversation about "fat packs" with Mike Hague. See you soon!

    This is otherwise known as an abdominal wall aspiration. But NOOO - they have to call it "fat pad."
